Happy Halloween

Hi lovelies! I hope that you all are having a great week so far! I’m sorry that I’ve been a little mia lately- despite numerous calls to Xfinity and visits, my internet at home has still been a little wonky. Hopefully I can get it resolved shortly and be back with you all more regularly!

I can’t believe today is actually Halloween! It will be a low key day- work, handing out candy with the fam (which I’m really excited about!) and perhaps some gluten-free/dairy-free pizza for a treat! In San Francisco today things are a little crazy though because of the Giants parade! (In case you don’t follow baseball- the SF Giants won the World Series!) So everyone from surrounding areas is coming into the city today to celebrate our city and team! It just so happens that the team colors are black and orange so it does seem fitting for Halloween!

While I won’t be dressing up today, I did dress up this weekend, and not in any of these costumes. Instead, a group of us dressed up as the Disney princesses and another group of my friends dressed up as Rock-Paper-Scissors which was too cute!  My friend Katie hosted an amazing party complete with a dj! It was such a wonderful night and I loved bringing in Halloween a few days early with all my friends!

I hope you all have a wonderful, safe Halloween! Enjoy the time with your friends and family and make sure to treat yourselves! I will certainly be having some fun size peanut m&ms which thankfully are gluten-free! To see what candies are gluten-free, check out this great list! I’m also planning on making a delicious treat tonight that I’ll be sure to share the recipe with you soon!

  1. Oh my goodness, your Halloween costume is adorable, Emily!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better Snow White–seriously! I love that you had an Evil Queen to accompany you. The rest of the princess costumes are fantastic too; I *might* need to remember this idea for next year. 😉

I hope you had fun celebrating the Giants’ victory! I’ve been wearing my Bay Area pride on my sleeve all week, especially around my New York, Boston and St. Louis-originating friends. They tend to brag about their teams a bit *too* much, so it’s been fun to set them in their place. 😉

Halloween candy is a MUST on Halloween, so I’m glad you were able to enjoy peanut M&M’s (one of my favorites!). I also ate Reece’s peanut butter cups (my all time favorite), and one Almond Joy mini (it had been ages). I’m looking forward to your GF/DF recipe! Oooh, and also, I’ve been loving all of your pins lately…thanks for passing along the fabulous recipes!

    Love and hugs xoxo ❤
